Antennas

• Our standard 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz antennas come with a magnetic base
• They will not come lose in any wind or weather conditions
• They can also be permanently mounted by drilling a hole in the base
• Standard equipment with our Long Distance camera system and wireless trailer camera system
• The standard 2.4 GHz antenna is rated at 5 dBi
• The standard 900 MHz antenna is rated at 3 dBi
• Optional antennas are rated at 7 dBi and 9 dBi
• A separate magnetic base must be purchased for the 7 and 9 dBi antennas

Our standard antennas are adequate in nearly all situations.  The 7 and 9 dBi antennas are more powerful and can be used in situations where there are barriers such as foliage between the transmitting and receiving sites or when more power is desired for long distances.  All of our antennas can be used for transmitting or receiving.  Although typically used on the transmission end, they can be used with the receiver as well.  In some cases if may be necessary to purchase an antenna cable in order to place the antenna in a clear broadcast position.
